My first yoga class was a prenatal Iyengar Yoga class when I was pregnant with my first daughter, over 27 years ago! Since then, I experienced different yoga classes and enjoyed them all, yet felt more in sync with my running, dance, and weight training. That is until I finally broke through my resistance of trying hot yoga and attended a 90 minute Bikram Yoga class in beautiful Hawaii Kai in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was hooked; my body and spirit connected with the poses, the deeper work that was taking place beyond the physical within me. I then understood why every day more and more people are turning to yoga today in the Western world.
Now here in Los Angeles, I found a wonderful studio in Marina del Rey! Each class is a different experience, showing me where my body needs attention, and sometimes where my emotions may need releasing…
